How the job runs
What happens when you bring the car in
- 01
We look at the glass and talk about shade
Florida allows 28% on front side windows and 15% on rear side and back glass for most passenger vehicles. We will show you shade samples against your own car before anything is cut.
- 02
Patterns are cut on the plotter
Film is cut to your vehicle's pattern on our machine instead of being trimmed by hand on your glass, which keeps blades away from defroster lines and door seals.
- 03
Installation in an enclosed bay
Doors closed, glass cleaned twice, film set and squeegeed. Dust and wind are what cause contamination in the finished film.
- 04
Curing and pickup
Film needs a few days to dry fully in Miami humidity, so leave the windows up. Small haze or moisture spots during that time are normal and clear on their own.

Ceramic, and the 3M lines we carry
Ceramic film is what most Miami drivers end up choosing, because it cuts heat without forcing you into very dark glass. Here is how the 3M options differ in plain language.
3M Crystalline
Maximum heat rejection with a nearly clear look
A multilayer, non-metallized film available in light shades, so you can keep windows looking close to factory while still cutting heat and UV.
3M Ceramic IR
Strong heat and infrared rejection at a lower cost than Crystalline
Ceramic construction with no metal, so it will not interfere with phone, GPS or radio signals. A common middle choice for Miami daily drivers.
3M Color Stable
A deep, even black that does not turn purple
Dyed film built to hold its color over time. Popular when the goal is appearance and privacy first, with solid UV protection.
